Last night's Met Gala red carpet featured more than extravagant outfits and over-the-top accessories. Two notable celebrities, Tennis star Serena Williams and supermodel Karlie Kloss also showed off their new growing baby bumps.

We love an epic pregnancy announcement over here; who could forget Rihanna at the Super Bowl or Lindsay Lohan announcing her first pregnancy with an adorable onesie on her Instagram? These two will need to dust off their newborn checklists, although they are pros already, with this being the second pregnancy for both.

Williams took to Instagram after walking the red carpet on Monday to share her news;  "Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited the 3 of us to the Met Gala." Excited well-wishers rushed to the comments section; the official @wimbeldon account left '💚💜 congratulations!' and Brooklyn Decker calling her "A stunning, glowing angel 😍".

Serena is already a mom to five-year-old daughter Olympia with her husband, Alexis Ohanian. The tennis legend, who retired from tennis last year, has been candid about not feeling like a good mom.

When Bradley Cooper asked about her reason for retiring in an interview, she mentioned wanting to spend more time with her family: "As a super hands-on mom, I can’t tell you how hard it was. I lost so many matches after I had Olympia."

It doesn't matter how prominent of a celebrity you are or how much help you can access; balancing motherhood and career is challenging for most.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss also took to Instagram to share photos of her in her Met Gala dress with the caption "baby’s first Met."

Similar to Williams, the comments section was quickly flooded with excitement. Katy Perry wrote "I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" and Gwyneth Paltrow said "I can’t with you😍".

Kloss and her husband, Joshua Kushner, welcomed their first child, Levi, in March of 2021.
