This Monster Munch is a mix of peanuts, popcorn, coconut, raisins, and apricots. Perfect for little monsters and angels!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups popped popcorn

  • 1 cup peanuts

  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut

  • 2 tbsp butter, or margarine

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3/4 cup dried apricots

  • 3/4 cup raisins

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300F.

  • Pour popcorn into a 9 x 13-in. (33 x 22 cm) baking pan and add peanuts and coconut. Melt together butter and honey in a small saucepan, and drizzle mixture over popcorn. Gently stir until well combined.

  • Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  • Meanwhile, use kitchen scissors to cut apricots into smaller pieces. When popcorn is finished baking, add apricots and raisins, toss to combine and transfer to a large serving bowl to cool.

Note: Do not attempt to make this during humid weather. The honey absorbs moisture from the air and will turn a yummy, crunchy snack soggy within hours.
